Pathway (Preferred Creative Media
‘specialism’):
Journalism, Photography, Film, Graphic Design,
Web Design, Sound Design etc. This may be a combination of one or more. How
has this changed since you started the course?
|
|
Sound Design – This has changed throughout
the course as I have done radio adverts which required editing.
|
|
Section 1: Project Rationale (approx. 100
words)
Since
starting the course in September, What do you know now, and what does it mean
to you, (compared with what you knew and could do before you started the
course). How does what you know now influence your choice of pathway and your
project proposal.
|
|
Since I have started
this course in September I have learnt many things. I have learnt many
things. I have increased my skills in editing in every software which we have
used this year and last year. This allowed me to use software’s to my max
capability. I also learnt new tips and tricks on after effects I was allowed
to do things which I couldn’t do before. I also learnt when making my radio
adverts that there is a tool which allows me to take away background sound
from the sound which has been recorded.

Section
2 Project Concept: (approx. 200 words)
Clearly
explain the concept and aims of
your project and the context, research
and ideas that will support its development. What
are the historical, economic, social, mass
media, cultural, political influences?
What is it you want to communicate and who is your audience? What access might you need to workshops and
specialist equipment? how will you use independent study?
|
|
The concept for my
project is to tell people that mental health is really serious and I want
more people to be informed by it. I also want more people to be informed
about how mental health and how to help people which are going through mental
health issues. I will research into statistics on mental health and even
statistics on how podcasts have improved and how they have become more widely
used in the world. I have had a few ideas which were making a series/sequel
on my podcasts about mental health. I want to add political influences into
my work which would make people want to listen to it and see what they say
about it. My target audience for my FMP is 15-22 year olds as the younger
generation suffer from mental health and how speaking up can help them leave
a bubble of no one will listen to them as they are shown as weird. But they aren’t
so I attempt to try get them to start speaking to people about the issues
faced.

Section
3 Evaluation and Reflection: (Approx 50 words)
Explain how you will reflect
on, and evaluate your work, as both an on-going activity and at the
conclusion of the project. You should describe how you intend to record your
decision making and how you will document changes to your ideas as work
progresses. The evaluation should be
referred back to your aims. It must be reflective (‘why? Because?’) and
analytical rather than a description of actions completed.
|
|
I will reflect on my
work by making people peer asses my work. I will also have a few teachers
listening to it. I will put stuff on my reflective log which I do every
day/every week. This will allow me to put stuff on my blog and work.
|
|
Section
4: Research Sources and Bibliography (Harvard format)
Record the initial research
sources, both primary and secondary, that you intend to use. Your sources of research should be as wide
as possible, including libraries, museums, galleries, journalism, articles,
media, galleries, books, film/video, magazines, TV/radio programmes, web
sites etc.
